Lost Forever
As a full moon lit up the cold night sky
helping a lonely man find his lost love
spotting her, he now pleads frantically
for her to respond to his loving call
she walks lazily on the icy road
once she was reached he moved her to safety
pausing to look into her empty eyes
not seeing the woman he once married
lost somewhere in her mind as she shivered
he kept questioning without an answer
fearing now, she might be lost forever
