Lost Black Girl

Thought to have risen abve her circumstances,
even though they have left her callous.
Felt as though she had no second chances,
Because the choices she made through her life out of balance.
Constant neglect and poverty hardened her exterior,
protecting her from all the slings and arrows.
She lives not knowing that it to shelters her from those things that is good for her,
For trust is her road dark and narrow.
It is less traveled by her,
Because there is no light there.
Underneath lies a woman that I prefer,
Her strength in which can never be compared.
Our heart still beats with rythmic syncopation,
Never skipping, never stoping.
Her fearless heart gives me the feeling of levitaion,
Carried through the day never dropping.
Always down for me,
because i am always down for her.
Her sweet somethings that are wispered to me,
leaving my heart the only one to decypher.
Her intelect is radiant,
and her smile illuminates my darkest path.
Its alot that i found in this lost black girl,
I would take her first instead of gaining everything in the world.
