Lord, I Love You

2 Corinthians 12:9 – My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Lord, I’ve been so weak
So very weak
I’ve needed to feel your peace
Your tender, wonderous peace

Lord, I’ve been so wrong
So very wrong
I’ve needed to feel your grace
Your everlasting, joyous grace

Lord, I’ve been so down
So very down
I’ve needed to feel your encouragement
Your serenity, hope and encouragement

Lord, I’ve been so lost
So very lost
I’ve needed to feel you restoring me
Your sweet kindness and restoration

Lord, I’ve been so alone
So very alone
I’ve needed to feel your friendship
Your wise counsel and friendship

Lord, I’ve been so worried
So very worried
I’ve needed to feel your comfort
Your assurance and warming comfort

Lord, I’ve been so afraid
So very afraid
I’ve needed to feel your faith
Your supporting, genuine faith

Lord, I’ve been so broken down
So very broken down
I’ve needed to feel your victory
Your triumphant call of victory

Lord, I’ve been your child
So in need of your hand
To lead me through this land
Toward the mercy that abounds

Lord, I can’t thank you enough
For the many blessings you’ve provided
Your love is beyond what I deserve
It’s my everlasting promised home

Lord, Thank you so very much
Thank you for all you’ve been and done
For coming into this world, dying
And rising to become… My sweet Savior

Lord, I love you!
