Love Poem: Loose Ends

Loose Ends

The world’s shadows abroad behind men,
Launching quenched purified soles
To find the love of god beyond our control.
It’s the price you pay when it takes a toll
A man analyzes defeat by his mistakes
Then nails them to a stake.
Break away the barrier between good and bad,
Then shatter any loving emotion had.
A heart saddened is ripped apart at the seams,
But continues to broaden within dreams.
Satan wins the bind fool,
Forever bound within a bind for a duel.
Witch a sword can only sever
This word we call forever.
Holding tears,
Erase the fear beyond space encased,
Break free for the love you yearn to embrace.
Up in arms he devours,
And these become our final hours.
Blood spill showers as lustful love sours,
The mighty cower behind the weak that still seek,
What’s left in the towers?
This is god’s almighty power.
Turn the other cheek or burn.
For what mankind yearns in return.
Look around the bounded black walls of fault,
We must come to a halt.
In the surrounded attack that calls the stabbing back
Our existence must somehow lack.
The jabbing pierce eats so fiercely sin.
Where have our soles been?
Many histories descend,
We can’t win.
Just how much conniving can defend the blistered heart in?
Death drowning from the start.
What’s to gain?
All pain that shame the wrenched gone lame.
I refuse to play the game.
You can’t defuse the ashes after the explosion came.
No one can ever be tamed.
No one can ever be the same.
