Love Poem: Look What I See

Look What I See

I looked in the mirror of dawn forest dew,
and saw myself as a doe
I possessed a gentle spirit,
so very graceful
I looked upon the face of a sunset lit pond,
and saw myself as a swan
Gliding across still water
towards a tranquil horizon
I looked at the glistening mountain rocks,
and saw myself as a ewe
I was clothed with wooly meekness,
my warmth of peace covered you
I looked up at the shimmering translucent sky,
and saw myself as a dove
I flew to the end of the rainbow,
and beheld the face of LOVE
