LOOK AT YOUR SHADOW
At any rate you’ll find me by your side
Sail we must together in unknown sea
In surging tempest or in ebb and tide
In dense darkness reach the shore we don’t see.
If on your green valley falls the grey sky
Deluge descends, flows in the flood of tears
I won’t let you drown even if you try
You’ll find an anchor in my hands for years.
In maze of hard times fazed you wander
In the twilight hours you lose your known track
You’ll find my deep footprints trailing you near
Encase your feet, they'll bring you home back.
If life fails you look then at your shadow
It holds you close always, it’s me you’d know.
