Long Distance Love Letter

My Darling Man:

My heart demands I share my emotions tonight, despite the affection and news I mailed in my earlier write.

I shall share with sentimental fuel and, beautiful man, you know my sentiment is true. We write of our love’s intense flame, but not how or when we shall see it tamed.

I find myself focused on your lips and hands right now. Could you mail them to me, somehow? Surely I need them more than you do there, anyhow! My heart and body both yearn, just as they agree it is imperative you soon return. I need to be wrapped in your hands and skin, lose track of where I end and you begin, feel your masculinity melt me like rough velvet within …. Oh, my love, just writing this fills my tummy with butterflies that spin!

Many nights, I am drawn to the moon, my love. I live desperate to share real time with you and knowing my moon can see you, too, will have to do. When I surrender to the moons mystic trance, it sweetly love-washes me in memories of our romance.

People say I am such a brave wife, carrying on with the details of life. People cannot see how my heart mourns or that I fuse as a lonely burn. They can't see how much I struggle to know the value of any day that denies the touch and sight of you, except that it nears your return.

The mailbox has become my best friend. Daily, I hope you are held within. Be it a new picture or letter you wrote, our mailbox symbolizes all my hope. Even your handwriting on envelopes is a sight my eyes lovingly stroke. Your letters are my joy, my focus, my fulfillment-everything. Darling, I treasure each as all bring love's flow for my heart’s hot spring.

You will think me dramatic, but without you, our bed is gigantic. The scent is wearing off your shirt I sleep in, so you may also think me frantic, and picture me in panic for I will not be able to sleep, and that is tragic! Now, my love, I can picture the grin you are wearing, feeling amused and caring. Just bearing all my emotions in this heartfelt airing makes them easier to handle. Oh, the therapy of our couple-sharing!

It is time to draw your pillow into my arms and dream about all of your charms.
Remember that you are my heart, my constant prayer and can meet no harm.
Do not make me come there, tell all to be forewarned …

I love you all the days, all the world.
You are my life and I,
Your Loving Wife …
