Love Poem: Lonely Man

Lonely Man

The misery of a heart ache, that no one ever sees
in their minds they all must say
that could easily be me.

He fights the urge to close up, behind the curtains and the door
so one one ever sees him
as he lays there on the floor.

Doom and gloom they've called him, because he always blocks the light.
but they don't have to be there
with his lonelyness at night.

Now he jumps from here to there, getting what he can
never getting what he needs
he is a lonely man.
