Lingering Memories
The thoughts of her still linger
through the chambers of my heart
like soft notes of a singer;
thoughts of love she does impart.
Her whispers ever echo
through the canyons of my mind;
while begging me to let go,
and forever love to find.
The kisses that she gave me,
and her tender gentle touch;
her passions given freely,
and the love she gave was much.
The time we spent together
filled with ardent energy
will live with me forever,
such a precious memory.
