Likes a Girl In Trinidad

He likes a girl in Trinidad

He likes a girl in Trinidad
Meet her on maracas beach
Before he came back to New York
Take her number so she can be reach

He wish if he could skype her
She won’t let him buy her a computer
He wants to take the relationship
To the next step he’s fallen for her

She won’t accept gift from him
She’s such a decent girl
She said if they married
Then he can offer her the world

And he wonders what she’s doing
Right now at home
Is she thinking of him
And feeling all alone

 He wonders what she’s wearing
A dress or a skirt
And if she knows he miss her
So much it hurts

If He didn’t need his job
He will be in Trinidad right now
But soon as he get vacation
He coming to Trinidad he vow

She tells her mother in her gallery
Bout a boy in New York
Her mothers said get your food
And eat while we talk

She said she loves him
And he ask to marry her
And next time he calls
She will give an answer

Her mother said
You have to follows your heart
If two people love each other
Then nothing should keep them apart

He come form America
The whole street attend
It’s about a hundred
Invitation was send

Amanda eating an ice cream
Watching from the street
The mother tells her when you finish
Come and sit down and eat

I could not go to the wedding
To busy over here
But when the couple comes up
Will carry my gift, sit down and have a beer
