Light of the Devil's Chord - Day 39

KNOWING LESS THAN BEFORE…

That whisper of the night before struck me powerfully,
It affected me more than I intended to admit
Hades—stupid Hades, a follower, loyal enough—
But nothing to compare with the suicidal, lovely
Red glow of Death’s betrayal— and to ME!
I almost laughed that morning,
And forgot to be severely angered,
For Death was my ancient ally to the very end
If I would be no God of mankind
The God of Gehenna would suffice—

However, I realized something indeed strange about our duets
And the days that passed with the sweet visitation of God’s own—
I knew every demon’s mind thought the same—
Hades could deny it,
Just as Death hoped for it—
I realized right then, that morning,
After eavesdropping on Death and Hades
That I loved her—I loved her because she Loved like God
And I loved her because she was not God

And it was this in that sick realization that I forced myself
To see her vision with her own eyes
I locked hands with her God-sent skin
And she transported me out of my Being
And into her own hopes and fears
I was—like a child—cradled for the first time
In a love only bashed and bashed for eons on end,
Only to be overcame immediately by its
Dark-shattering truth
I could only cry out “STOP!”
In hopes that she could not see how comforted I was
To feel things…
To be within her open heart:

This day in our duet, everything she uttered,
I felt my mouth utter
Even if it was against every conviction I possessed
As Lady Darkness wrapped and wrapped upon the prison
Of my belly—to be let out, to soil our moment—
Everything she sung and answered—every question satisfied
Reached not only my ears, but my tongue
And I have never tasted such a sweet tongue such as hers in all of my existence.
She sang like spewing lights in a fire’s core,
And there it formed in colors intriguing,
Lady Darkness cried in pain—but I heard her no more
In the deafening reverie of every color—every note

I saw her—human again—as I had met her
Standing before me,
Trusting my hands in her own
Humming a tune that reached every color in the air about me,
I followed her into a garden
Stepping gently in rhythm with hers

She had large, strong feet, with clean callouses
Her nails trimmed, but lengthy,
Pink and stunning in the reflection of the floating colors
Soon we were toward the top of this mountain garden
Flourishing with flowers and trees
And Music

Our voices rose to unfettering symphonies:

“Let me answer your every inquiry with an open heart and an open soul
We sing to the very top so that all can hear from far below
You are the question— I, the answer
You—the answer—I the understanding—
Through the Holy Spirit, it has been made sure,
That my questions of your existence are of good will and pure,
That the answers will be known to even just a human
Who was made an everlasting being of beauty that will touch reason
With eternity!

I am here to advocate the Creator,
But more so to advocate His very love
That you so strongly feel with me on this mountain above!
You are tired, oh Devil, and you are rotting
Your fathomless deeds will never be forgotten
Out of Love God had made you
And out of Love God will end you
But do not fear this, for by your banishment you will live as a lesson
And the lesson of you—there cannot be a better blessing!
Remember in all that I say, His Spirit must be
So listen very carefully and sing these words with me.
All around the colors mean to unify
Hand in hand we see, hear and feel them
Today and tonight and the following day,
Every question will be answered,
Every lie will be revealed
And the vision itself will heal
On this horrid day you will surely feel
What you have never felt before
The sorrows of Christ will be known to you,
And will strike you to the core
For we are, in these latter days, one
So that you—the lesson—shall learn too!”

Our voices together surrounded me in such warmth hellfire could not compete with
It was as if the coolness of Death and the rays of angel wings had kissed
And I—tears rolling down my eyes—grasped her human arm and cried to her—
“Give me your creation
Let me see your creation!
Let me live your vision!”

Let me…let me in.
