Things haven't gotten easier
And relationships shouldn't be this hard
True love is about give and take
It's not meant to cause so much harm
We might not know how it happened
We have stumbled but we still tried
I guess some love stories sizzle out
Even though we kept on striving

It seems to hurt to express our love

But things became way too complicated
We need time to address our healing
