Life's Light

My thoughts have been laid bare Sometimes prickly as an old bear My dreams have been made right It is their joy of which I often write My feelings are always on board Never late and never feeling bored My heart is one that money can’t buy It is filled with hope and won’t say goodbye My passions are stirred to life, like the deer Who longs for the forest with a heart so dear My hopes are full as the morning with dew Kissing the precious rose with nurturing due My spirit blooms in vibrant hues, like a flower Who needs love like the bread needs its flour My life is built on love that is meant for Giving, like the clover with leaves – four My light burns brighter because I can hear The wonder of a Savior who is always here!
