Life's Blessings

A girl with innocent heart is here,
She loved a boy who was practical everywhere,
Surprisingly he proposed her with a rose
And she too was ready to ooze...,

Struggled through a lot of difficulties,
Be it caste, status or people to mislead,
They glued to each other through thick & thin,
He said, "I love you forever", holding her chin...

Somehow with everyone's consent,
They said, for each other we are meant!
With certainty, their relation gloried,
Now the couple tagged as just married...

Some years passed happily together,
Then they became "Maulik's" father & mother,
Still adjusting with members of the family,
This woman losing selflove & fantasy...

Hormonal changes & imperfectly shaped,
Somewhere stitches & somewhere tapes,
He held her close to say,
I'm with you in life's every way...

The colleen had metathesiophobia,
Always in search of euphoria,
From being the most beautiful to being faded,
Looking for help instead of being aided...

Let's welcome this new phase,
I'll never fail to amaze,
Your physical appearance doesn't matter to me,
All I want is just "WE"...

Believed with fear but she went for the bond,
A little nervous to dive in the love pond,
When she hold those little tiny hands,
The feelings took a rise to correspond...

Motherhood gave birth to a mother,
True love engraved faith in her,
Rapidly she was gaining her confidence back,
Their little one arrived with joys & happiness sacks...

Fulfilled every promise made to herself,
Everyday she tries to be the best,
Little one keep making the mess,
Mom keeps wiping off it from tbe desk...

No time to overthink or to fear,
Has multiple tasks to cover,
Life is too short to worry,
Make yourself a greener tree...

Not every hurricane is visible in life,
Some make us furiously ill in the mind,
They say love is blind,
But actually it has invisible eyes...

True love affixes you,
Makes you strong & wise,
May be that's why we call it,
A blessing in disguise...
A blessing in disguise...!
