Life With Kimmy

Life With Kimmy!
When I wake up at dawn, hear her voice, feel alive! My first thought then's a prayer, "God help me survive!" For its musical sound and her warmth has a grace, That few men ever find (though they search outer space)! I've observed that her mind's on a singular track, Makes her sad to receive what she cannot give back, What I give, can't return, (LOVE! - no woman deserves!), Twice, thrice, passes it on, thus addresses life's curves! "Cut your hair?" is a gift that she gives others too, Hard to not feel her grace, should your home be a zoo! Where what's curled is made straight, straight reborn new as curled And the colors invested in, out of this world! In her shop, 'Kimmy's Bliss,' all the orchids aspire, To the beauty awoken in all! Who can hire Warmth the sun gives so freely, there's never a fee, Though if Truth's what you're seeking, her gift's honesty. What you don't hear the first time she'll offer you twice, If you seek inner beauty as well, her advice Is the best I've encountered through all of my years, Just the thought of her absence can bring me to tears! Bless the day I attended the opera where (La Boheme does end sadly but) hope was born there! Though she came with a man, one I know she loved too, Gave phone number to me, when pre-dinner was through. Oh, the world's full of fear which we all must resist, And yes, many months passed before lips would get kissed! Do we fight? Sure we do! We decide! Hearts stay true! Now, this verse! Let the world see the ways I love you! Brian Johnston 6th of May of 2019
