Misconceptions....
Or more to the point....
Lies.
For whatever reason,
for whatever felt,
Hiding behind a veil
....of lies.
Is truth too hard to express?
Honestly too hard to give?
Love too much to ask??
Are dreams the thoughts of foolish men?
Hope - a myth of the past?
Are hearts made to be broken,
and forever not meant to last?
Can tomorrow be met with a smile,
and laughter to to fill the day?
Or is the loneliness of tonight
all that is left?
And tears... do they cleanse the soul?
Or burn the life??
