Letting Go

Another year nebs by zero As empty gardens gate outflux By delusions picket, white and wooden Lined long sidewalk memories crooks Bits of heart still scattered amidst the grass Cross seasons, forever weathered change A tear, a leaf ...a flake always fall away Like you, the sapor in my life astray Deep within me somewhere still You so much, siphon off my energies To waste and wither in each of waking days Teetering upon the edge, thus living off of fantasies Puddles in my dreams, kept upon my nighttime pillow From where I stand wishes within the day, and wait Onto worn tiles intimate below my peering window Outside, "Dead End" a road sign reads, and in my mind... down a one way street
