Letting Go

Verse One:
I'm awake at five Am.
Another night of sleeplessness.
But now I know,
That through myself, I'm letting go.
You're on my mind all the time,
I'd give it all to call you mine,
And now I see that we're not meant to be,
So I'm letting go... (Cause)

Chorus:
There's no way to save what we had,
It's all the past, it's all the past.
And I wish you could see,
What it's been doin' to me.
I wish I could go back in time,
Back to the place when I called you mine,
And I know we both know,
That finally, I'm letting go.

Verse Two:
It hurts me to say, that it's better this way.
With unspoken words, I know you're happy with her,
And it kills me inside, but I force a smile.
You hug her the same, you kiss her cheeks.
And when I see it, my knees still get weak,
'Cause it takes me back, oh it takes me back, (and I know)

(Chorus)

Bridge:
And don't look away, there's things we gotta say,
Like how we're finally through.
And don't call my name, 'cause things aren't the same,
As they used to be... (because)

Chorus, slowing down until the end...

(Acapella) Because finally, I let you go.
