Rewriting
chapters..Replacing
pain
with laughter.
Erasing penciled in
memories..
Inking in the permanence of
our
loves confession..
writing our own history..not
a
suspense or a mystery..
But love and
poetry..Creating our
own stanzas..
No flashbacks of previous
times
and where our hearts have
been at.
Acknowledging
mistakes,but
writing them off..
together..
Endulging in metaphors, in
lyrical
form..lining them carefully
between
the lines of our poems.
In our history book poetry is
our
rhyme and love is our
reason.
The past had its season..
For that reason lets start a
new
ballad..connotations and
similies..
sharpening our pencils and
inking
our pens
lets continue to write..
in order to make things
right..
Because i cant negate the
fact that
with you i've experienced
love's
climax
