Let Others Love In Peace

I've never felt such disgust
Wishing there's a way to just
Unhear words I can't believe
Were said leaving so much grief
To a loving couple who
Never should be left so blue
By the racist remarks said
Loving hearts now feel dead
Knowing there's no way to stop
All the filthy and pure slop
That comes off of someone's lips
Hand in hand they tightly grip
Each other strongly and stand tall
Trying not to sadly fall
Into a dark pit of hate
Holding each other they wait
For the world to finally see
Every couple should be free
To choose who they want to love
Without being pushed and shoved
Because they are the same sex
Please stop putting a mean hex
On two people who just want
To live happy, do not haunt
Them with negativity that comes
From the harsh words on your tongue
They have every right to care
For partners, without the fear
Of being ridiculed wherever they
Are tryna have a pleasant day
