Let It Be So
let our hearts speak
of nothing but
what matters most
even if not one word
comes to mind
let the hush of our silence
speak its melody
so it may convey thoughts
born of innermost desire
if truly we are meant to be
and let our pen run free
giving voice to feelings
that don't dare show themselves
lest we realize the only thing
we've left is fear itself
