Leave the Carnage

I cant leave the remains, there are to many tears.
Everything stays the same, nothing changes here.
Fire burns my conscious, though the remains mean nothing.
I know my poetic sonnets, wont stop the end thats coming.

Run along now. Im too eager to stay.
The carnage wont make a sound, while it burns its self away.
You would love the sight, thats why you must leave today.
Ive lost the fight, theres no need for you anyway.

Leave the carnage behind, I'll hold on the past.
I'll take the time, thinking of what we could've had.
Theres no need for you, to see the despair.
You're to hypocritical, to say that you care.

For your sake and mine, leave this place now.
Dont waste my time, asking me how.
Just close your eyes, and invision me in carnage.
I'll fade with time, while you live on the bloody edge.
