Lately it seems to be getting darker sooner.
Lately it seems that the days drag on longer.
Lately it seems all is lost in confusion.
Lately it seems to be feeling a bit colder.
Lately it seems that nothing can go right.
Lately it seems that the rain won’t stop.
Lately it seems the walls are closing in.
Lately it seems that the air has been thinner.
