Late Night Thoughts

Midnight,
More feelings, new thoughts.
My mind swirls around you,
But my feelings don't matter to
you.
When my feelings don't matter
to you,
They almost no longer matter
to me.
Nosy minded, curious to know,
Who my heart is set on.
After you find out it's you,
It's old news.
No cares, just silence.
Awkward glances.
No talk.
No matter.
Hurt, I'd step away from my
feelings.
They don't matter to you,
To anyone.
Your cold quiet swallows me
whole.
I'm almost drowning in my,
Midnight.
More feelings, new thoughts.
I wish you'd just grab my hand,
But you're numb to me.
Unknowing.
Midnight.
More feelings, new thoughts.
It's just a crush, no big deal.
SNAP.
Walk away, for good.
Maybe.
My feelings don't matter to
you.
They don't matter to anyone.
When they don't matter to
anyone,
They almost,
Almost.
Almost no longer matter to me.
Almost,
Midnight.
More feelings, new thoughts.
At least we're friends.
Not enough.
If we're friends,
I have feelings for you.
You're interested in my
feelings,
Aren't you?
Until you find out it's you.
Walk away.
Awkward glances, no talk.
You're so mean.
But I wish you were my mean,
Midnight.
I want to tell you,
I haven't.
Because I know what will
happen.
SNAP.
Walk away.
But You know that too,
So why do you ask?
It's you,
Midnight.
Shhh.
