Love Poem: Last Time

Last Time

Last time you broke my heart,
You shattered my dreams and tore my mind apart,
Last time I said I love you
You pushed me aside and wouldn't let me hug you,
Last time I tried my heart died!
But like all walls fall,
You beat me down and I crawl,
This will all crumble as hurt feelings rumble,
This won't be the first time I was dissed,
And it won't be the last time you'll be kissed,
Call for comfort speak for misery,
It all fades into history,
Last time I apologized it was my lies,
That made you realize it was my fault,
Last time we took a walk,
We heard everything in silence cause we wouldn't talk,
Last time I wiped your tears,
You had a tender heart my dear,
As you were sleeping,
I thought of leaving before weeping,
As you turned over, I asked myself was it over?
Or was I just a crying shoulder?
As the night got old I pulled up covers,
It seemed you were cold,
As I saw my reflection,
I realized I was lost with no direction,
As I sung the sad song,
I thought about what could've gone wrong,
As I turned around on bending knee,
Not far from the ground I erased a frown,
Last time I fell for you,
It was a forgive me letter I had to mail to you,
Last time I took a look at the pupils in your eyes,
It was feelings disquise,
Last time I said I miss you,
I wanted to kiss you, but didn't wanna risk you
