Knowledge of God's Love
There is nothing to compare
with knowledge God has shown
of His truly great infinite love for me
that His heart's tender and not of stone
The children's hymn tells it so
that 'Jesus loves me this I know
because the Bible tells me so'
this is His promise onward I go
When life's troubles come my way
God's reassurance holds me still
knowing His love and peaceful presence
holding on His promise I surely will
This love was shown at Calvary
where Jesus died in my place
so now all my sins forgiven
I can look on His lovely face
