Love Poem: Keeping Her Happy

Keeping Her Happy

Keeping her happy? That could be a chore!
Whatever you give her, she’ll always want more,
A malt at the fountain, a ride home from school,
You think you might marry (well, that's sounding cool!)

Easier I think to show her you care,
Text to her cell phone, remembrance in prayer,
The smile on your face as you view her with pride,
A physical touch when you’re there by her side.

Detailed attention that others might miss,
Goofy-ass pucker when you want a kiss,
The water that spilled in attempt to make tea,
She dreams under quilt that you found her settee.

Argue obliquely, so neither is wrong,
Whistle a tune if she can’t sing a song,
Crops fail, she stuffs wallet, and all with no sting,
If you've found this woman, can I kiss your ring?
