Love Poem: Just the Right Time

Just the Right Time

What if you never met me,
What if I never met you,
Than all of this wouldn't matter,
Or led either one of us to the truth,
We would still be walking blindly,
Sitting in the dark,
If I had never met you, I may have lived with an unconscious heart,
Ignorance can seem blissful, but it's the farthest thing from the truth,
It masquerades the depth of love, deceiving me and you,
We never ask for pain, we never ask for fear,
And when we open our hearts from the door, our intentions are always sincere,
We must take the time to go back to that door, the minute we turned the key,
What brought us there, why did we care, with a heart of love to see,
Even if it was just for a season, or a small step to further our lives,
We needed each other in that moment, placed together at just the right time,
Our spirits cannot fathom, for in eternity there is no time,
If a day to God is like a thousand years, there's much more love than we limitly define,
So whether it be for a few moments, or a countless amount of years,
Rest assured, the love in it all, means more than anything time here....

To my dearest friend Michael..you gave your heart till your very last breath, I will forever cherish the friendship we had. You knew you were leaving and yet you did not allow fear to control you...you are a beautiful, loving spirit, and you are an inspiration to my soul..I know your in the arms of God, right now, and you will forever be in my heart. Until we meet again, dear friend. ...I love you.
