Just He and I

I had a dog for fifteen years...
His name was Cat
He was my pal

When I think of him, my eyes drip tears...
From this and that
He was my friend

We'd walk alone...
Just he and I
Everyday

That old soft heart...
Just he and I
We would play

We'd run in the park
Till it got dark
Then, we would drive and we would park...
On an old dirt road

We'd play in the snow
And wouldn't you know
He'd be my pillow...
When I got cold

He was my pal
For fifteen years
When I think of him
My eyes drip tears

He was my pal
He was my friend
We would play
Everyday
Just he and I
