Just For Us

So many opinions, but I look at them like minions, swaying in the wind, I'm unaffected by their mission, which entails bringing down the grace of you, the face of your, unabashed religion to bring soul to my life, many nights dealt with fights, broken dreams, tangible strife, but your voice is the day where work doesn't exist, just put your mind away of all of those nay-sayers that that display bad weathers to our seeds of joy, the world can tell you what they want, how your waistline doesn't fit the description of bulimic groin-throbs that don't really exist, cuz your realness is depicted by my appetite for living, what I'm giving is the foundation of what our union's become, so pay no attention to others who scoff at what we've founded, when their houses of cards are just built on un-truths and distrust, they can jump off the cliff, but I'm trying to live, so my days are amazed by the flaws of you, because you're un-perfect, and I'm un-perfect, so together we can grow to be more than perfection itself, like a mother now clean when addiction was her path, because her children gave her life when wanted to give hers back, these words might confuse those who don't see with their heart, and seek empowerment in the one that they care about most, so keep your smile afloat, and I promise to keep planting the seeds of beauty like when the sun hits your face in the break of dawn, just know that your place for me is legendary cuz you changed my skepticism to a grain of sand, everything that you stand for is the reason I speak, and moves pens to the pad cuz your eyes are so deep...
