Just Being With You
You believe in everything I do
A relative enlightening of mirth
I love the speech inside of you
The spring of happiness the truth
It’s the power of your heart
Combined with your eyes
I’ll never want to be apart
You--I will never despise
With the love that will never part
I seek each avenue with glee
You and I shall always impart
A kind of peace, tranquility
We no longer have to say a word
To express how we feel
It’s never said to be absurd
That we tend to squawk and squeal
You bring to me a joy like no other
A piece of life, strong as metal
There is not a reason to bother
Saying our love is like a rose petal
Because all who know us sees it’s true
Value of our souls, we vow to do
Hold one another, even when things skew
