Just Another Girl

I could say you're just another girl, but that'd be a lie
I could say you're just another girl, but I miss you being by my side
But I've got to pretend you're just another girl so I can move on
You were my world, but now you're just another girl because you're gone

Smile for the world, don't let them know I'm hurt
I go the club weekly get drunk and have a flirt
Leave with a random girl and use her so she can help me to get over you
I just feed them a bunch of lines about how I'm ready and happy, because I don't know if they can hold the truth

I hope you're happy but I don't want to know what you're doing with your life
Because the thought of you with another man is keeping me up at night
I'll find happiness but we all move on in our own time
Some things just aren't meant to be, and it takes a while for us to accept that as fine

It's easier to pretend I don't care so I can find comfort
When you left, my heart broke and I'm not sure how much more I can stomach
Since you left my heart's been a mess
I deleted your number so I don't send you any drunk texts

I could say you're just another girl, but that'd be a lie
I could say you're just another girl, but I miss you being by my side
But I've got to pretend you're just another girl so I can move on
You were my world, but now you're just another girl because you're gone
