Join Me In Death

Join Me In Death

Join me in the dance,
of the ballet of Death.
The time has come,
for me to take my final breath.

My life has come to an end,
My last day is drawing near.
So please come with me,
and take away my fear.

I will not deny it,
I’m scared out of my mind.
But the only way out of this pain,
is to embrace the coming of my time.

Every day is a battle,
Every minute is a fight.
In this great bloody war,
That I sadly call my life.

So as I surrender,
to the clearly stronger foe,
I beg you to join me,
and hold my hand as I go.

I know you feel the same,
it’s obvious that you do.
Don’t you hate the way,
that you’ve lost your battle too?

No, that’s not true,
my battle is not done.
It’s only the scheme of my game,
That my demons, they think, they’ve won

And I'll hold your hand,
I'll join your side,
But not not as you leave,
I'll be with you through the fight.

Every day might be a battle,
Every minute might be a fight,
But there's always that someone,
To help you see the light.

So ease your mind,
And ignore your pain.
Because by these demons,
You will not be slain.

So I'll join you in the dance,
The ballet of Life.
So that you have a friend,
To lead you through your strife.
