Jesus Is Stronger
He’s getting older
Life’s gaining on him
He doesn’t know why
But he can’t seem to win
The promise of forever
Seems closer than it has
He has a friend in Jesus
Despite all his worst sins
The ones that destroy him
With worry and distress
The sins that he can’t conquer
Unless he hands them over
To the one who can, - Jesus
His sins are getting the best of him
He has no where to turn
They’re gaining sorrows and sympathy
With all those who know him
He has to give over his sin
Trust in the One who can bring to him
A second chance worth having
A day filled with joy and happiness
A moment that’s worth capturing
Sin like this is hard to live with
And harder still to get rid of
Sin so strong that the devil laughs at him
But Jesus is stronger
Thank God – Jesus is stronger
Jesus is the conquering King
He is alive, helping him survive
He is stronger than any sin
Jesus is stronger
Jesus is alive, fighting strife
Jesus is stronger
Thank God – He’s stronger
