Jesus Gave Me His Love! I Gave Him My Life!
I wanted to have my own way. God told me not to do it.
I figured that through the problems of life… I can do it!
I was proud of myself. For all that I had accomplished…
But the empty feeling I had inside. Could be replenished!
I looked at what I had done for my family and others.
I was there to help out for my sisters and brothers.
For all the money I spent, and the time I had given.
Couldn’t bring the peace I hoped for, in the way I was livin’.
I cried out to God one night, and spent some time in prayer.
I began to doubt he would listen, much less be there!
But at that moment, when I cried out in desperation.
Christ spoke to my heart, and gave me an invitation!
An invitation to join him! And accept his salvation plan.
As he spoke his words to me, I began to understand!
I accepted the hope and love and peace he extended.
Very soon afterward, this savior I had befriended!
I’m not disappointed by my choice and decision!
He totally changed my life with his loving precision!
His blood cleansed and brought true peace within!
By his mercy and grace, I became born again!
I bless your name oh Lord! For all you done for me!
You came to where I was, and blessed my life abundantly!
This life that I gave to you, I‘m not disappointed!
I’ve been blessed by God’s holy one and anointed!
You are that I could ever hope for! And all I have needed!
With you in my life now…
My life has been completed!
