Jesus Called Metto Follow Him
Jesus Called Me to Follow Him!
What was I to do, to the one who called me?
How do I explain it?
To the one who loves me?
I heard him calling my name once again…
The times he called me,
I don’t know where to begin!
His voice beckoned a message
of peace and hope.
At the time, my life was on a slippery slope.
He reached down and brought much comfort.
He did this for me, through his love and effort!
He’s with me each day, as I seek his gentle voice.
Whatever happens in life,
he’s my first choice!
He never disappointed me on any occasion!
He brought to me his love and salvation!
All praise to Jesus, whom I love so much.
Just the hem of his garment
is what I want to touch!
Thank you my Lord for your glory divine!
I’m glad to be yours
and you’re mine!
You bring nourishment and bless my soul!
I will praise your name,
wherever I go!
