Jealousy

Your wounded heart hurts like hell, for your love has been declined. And it's too early to tell how this will affect your mind. Jealousy unleashes fears, stirring nightmares long at rest. And inks wounds with acid tears, failing morality's test. The feelings you try to hide, increase anxiety's climb. For demons, you thought had died, were resurrected by time. You substitute truths with lies, picking scabs that leave a scar. And then you’ll gloat when love dies, acting crazy and bizarre. Swiftly stifling silent screams, you wipe a tear from your cheek. And strip memories of dreams, denouncing the love you seek.
