Love Poem: Jealous
Joyce Tao Avatar
Written by: Joyce Tao

Jealous

I was nervous,
as nervous as can be.

For I wanted to propose,
propose that single night.

This and that happened,
and it all turned out wrong.

I never meant to hit him,
but I lost sight of everything.

When I saw you with a guy,
I just couldn't resist.

You were in his arms,
kissing him on the cheek.

The only thing that passed my mind,
was that you're gonna leave.

Cause I knew this was it
You would leave me for him

He was your ex,
I guess was scared.

Scared that you'll leave me,
and my fear was realized.

I never thought you'll leave,
just get up and leave.

I regret my action,
that spur of a moment.

It cost me my love,
it cost me my life.

I've learned my lesson,
really, I have.

But who's to blame,
me or you?

I know the answer,
to my stupid question.

I was the one to blame,
it was all my fault.

For my jealousy,
got the best of me...
