Love Poem: INSIDE

INSIDE

Things i wanted to say
But never did
Kept my emotions to myself
Lucky enough hearts aren't computers
You can't crack the passcode
My heart is like a quiet room
You won't know who is INSIDE
Finders keepers
Lost soul in a oddly quiet forest
Lollipop on a shelf
Debit card is negative

Look who's scared of the Second Citizen
Fear of rejection
My feet are in a cold place
Too cold to take a walk
Too broken to talk
Nothing can happen in 35 days
But love works in mysterious ways

A poem is the only text
In which you can roast people
Without them knowing
That they've been roasted
In which you can expose your crush
Without her knowing
She's the Second Citizen
