Inner Alignment
As a creature of habit we begin
each endeavour tapping into our mind,
whilst oft neglected is our heart sanguine
gently urging us to choose pathways kind
free from feral ego’s demonic bind.
Ego wishes to seize and heart, connect,
Thus head-heart misaligned is soul's defect,
an aberration we may soon set right
if God's throb of love we choose to elect,
ushering deep peace bestowed by His light.
