I'M In Waiting

To get you, for your closeness
Still waiting I’m at the bottom of the Banyan tree
I wait and see abstractedly-

The sun rises and sets in the western gorge
Twilight loses its existence at the touch of deep night
The full moon forgets its glory becoming a guest of the new moon
Didn't find you anywhere
To get you, for your closeness
Still waiting I’m at the bottom of the Banyan tree

The monsoon takes birth in the hardness of summer heat
The winter comes for the kinship relation of autumn, late autumn
The dexterity of summer is anchored in the gentle harbor of spring
I am looking for you in the veins of all existences
Nowhere you are, nowhere
To get you, for your ever closeness
Still waiting I’m at the bottom of the Banyan tree

The flowers bloom and fall off
No, you are not there
The birds fly freely in the blue sky
No, you are not there
To the tune of the shepherd's beautiful flute
You are not there
In the silent humming of the college students’ love
You are not there
In the unwanted sting of Covid-19
No, you are not there also
In the flirtatious words of the virtual colorful world
No, you are not there
You are nowhere, oh, to get you
For your celestial closeness still waiting I’m
At the shadow of Banyan tree
