I'M Almost Home
I’m almost home! The end of my journey is so near!
There’s coming a day when the Lord shall appear!
I’m almost home! The heavenly angels are singing!
Praises to the Lord is what I’m bringing!
I’m almost home! The glory of the Lord
is around about me!
Inside of my life, his presence has
filled me!
I’m almost home! I have been in anticipation!
Of my Lord who extends an invitation!
I’m almost home! All of heaven proclaims…
Over all of his creation,
The Lord rules and reigns!
I’m almost home! And I hope
you’ll be with me!
To join you around God’s throne,
will surely bless me!
I’m almost home! Even so
Lord Jesus, come quickly!
I can’t wait to leave this
world beneath me!
I’m almost home! Dear Jesus,
all praise I give to you!
For all you’ve done for me…
I’m so thankful for you!
You’ve given to me all I could
want and much more!
It is you, that I’ll always worship and adore!
