I'Ll Have You

I remember when, you were mine to hold.
Nothing could hurt us then, as we grew old.
I keep thinking, about the love we shared.
My heart keeps sinking, yet you were the only one that cared.
Sorry things aren't the best, still together we love.
Fighting evertone's test, rising higher above.
Tears are falling, we are screaming.
No one's calling, nothing is what it's seeming.
"Do my words melt you," he starts to ask.
Oh God what should I do, he's seen through my mask.
I've found my angel, now she's mine.
But still, I cannot feel fine.
When I hold your hand, life is true.
If I can no longer stand, I'll have you.
The world is in hell, life is at end.
But I'll always tell, at least I have my best friend.
Holding onto you, to keep from dying.
We can make it through, in this world of lying.
Has no one told you, I gave you my heart.
What can I do, from falling apart?
Here is my dream, every night's lullaby.
We are the perfect team, that's what gets me by.
Me holding you, side by side.
Kissing the night through, no longer we have to hide.
