If You Cry Don'T Cry

If You Cry Don’t Cry

If you cry
Swans will eat from cold banks
And follow storms into eternity
The sun will turn on itself with no more mornings
If you cry don’t cry
Stones will lie still on the ground
One and all in silence, in fear
I can’t say why with certainty
There are no established rules
But I will be there for you whenever
You cry or don’t cry
I will hold your tears instead inside of me
And thirst no more
