If That Was Your Plan
You left my dreams
From sensual nights
Leaving me alone
Devoid of your affinity
Causing me to flee
My own fairytale,
And now I see me
Holding your hands
Where roses bloom hearts
And tulips sway minds
As breezes make music
Flirting with your lyrics,
Prompting me to wonder
If that was your plan
Escaping from dreams
To reside in poetry.
