If Only
if only maybe onetime
it would turn out differently
and that would be the sometime
love reflects identity
if only for a moment when
the slightest twinkle in the eye
clearly sends the signal then
that he will be your guy
if only maybe sometimes
what was left was what was right
and on that day the sun shines
making life so bright
if only for a second the heart
beats to happiness
it’s then the heaven’s blessings start
the road to blissfulness
if, only, maybe, sometimes
words too large to grasp
rarely is it that we find
whatever we may ask
