If I Could Only Have You
How do I feel now once our words have been expressed?
I look at things alittle less complex now because your words have alleviated my stress!
You’re my Angel by day and my Goddess at night,
I always want to be there by your side and do everything to make things right!
I want to express to you my thoughts while embracing you within my arms,
Your words came as a shelter to me so I no longer feel like I’m standing alone baring this
storm!
I could not go at this alone I need you by my side,
There was an air of refutation before that almost made me tuck in my tail and go hide.
But again you have uplifted me and rose me up to a higher plateau,
And I have neither shame nor guilt on saying “I love you babe”, is something I want you to
know!
Can you feel the rain drops falling its like the clouds has opened up wide,
I was granted permission by a higher force that said the, “Welcome mat is there”, so allow
yourself to come inside.
Do not be a stranger and let your love shine bright,
I can not sleep so easily because I have visions of your loveliness keeping me up at nights!
Now to some that maybe a problem but I do not mind because I love thinking about you too,
I stay up at nights just praying to the Lord how wonderful life would be if I could only have
you!
