Love Poem: If I Could Dream

If I Could Dream

There is nothing in this world
I could dream up in a dish.
Counting all the constellations
To make my final wish.
Passing by the cobbled ways,
The woody gates were still.
I’ll melt the world into a glass
For us to drink our fill!
The clay beside the window-lamp,
Was melted like the snow.
Where the street’s burning light
Made it like summer glow!
How fair to dance, my lady please,
Do press upon my hand!
The cobbled way beneath our feet,
The never-ending land!
We’ll drink our fill, and in the morn
Our pleasures might retire.
But please my dear do not forget
The love that we inspire!
