Love Poem: If

If

If I marry a woman.
I will not be a traditional male.
Instead of fancy rings, made of silver and gold,
that tarnish and wear, after growing old.
I will give two gifts that can withstand the test of time.
Ensuring that what is yours, and what is mine,
Will remain secure in the nest of our hearts.
High among the windswept branches,
Anchored by our Father.
To withstand Mother Nature's fury,
shielded from the harsh eyes of the human jury.
If you haven't guessed by now,
It's my promises of love,
that will bring a wow.
