Love Poem: I'De Rather Have Your Love

I'De Rather Have Your Love

let me tell u what i think,
what i think of you,
what love you could give me in this life, after all you've put me through,
you act as though you have my best interest at heart, oh please, spare me, what
lies,
your image, your gains, your condesending ways, and still you make such efforts
to try,
how can you tell me how to live,
do you think your better than me,
all of your mistakes i've ;never smashed in your face, i was there with love and
sympathy,
i always tried to look past your issues, to understand what led to the problem,
i gave u my heart a million times, and left room for u to solve them,
no one knows what another truly feels, you can give advise, but you can't play god,
sometimes we just need an embrace, a listening ear, or a shoulder that we can
cry on,
affection brings healing, and slowly diminishes our pain,
why would god make hugs and kisses if he didn't feel the same,
he gave us each other to love and admire,
so worries wouldn't worry us, or give chance to conspire,
failing in love doesn't mean that we ultimately failed,
if the other person gave up, or their love had grown stale,
it's' our job on this earth to keep love alive,
to better our friends and our loved ones,
to pass love on that thrives.
